Miswak (misvak), set of 5 – traditional natural toothbrush

The miswak is a twig used as a natural toothbrush and is considered the oldest known form of oral hygiene. In Islamic cultures, its use is considered sunnah, as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used the miswak daily. This set contains 5 traditional arak miswak twigs.

How to use the miswak

• Peel: remove about 1 cm of the outer layer to expose the bristles
• Soften: chew on the tip or loosen the bristles with your thumb
• Brush: hold the miswak perpendicular to your mouth and brush in circular motions
• Trim: if the tip is dry, trim it with a knife and then start peeling again

It is recommended to trim the tip once a day.
