The imam's daughter

Suddenly, she saw her little brother on the other side. How he had grown! Her little brother saw her too. He was surprised. How much that girl looked like his sister. He walked towards her.

Fatma felt her heart pounding .
She had not seen her little brother for years. How she had missed him! As they walked past each other, Fatma wanted to embrace him and tell him how much she had missed him, but she did not dare. He would surely recognize her if he also looked back.

Tears welled up in her eyes. She did not care about the people looking at her. "My dear little brother! You thought I was someone else, didn't you? Have you missed your sister too? You missed me, didn't you? If only I could embrace you and kiss you. My dear little brother. Please forgive me. I have ruined both myself and all of you. Why did I actually do it? This life wasn't worth living without you, was it?" she heard herself sobbing.

As she was about to turn the corner, she looked back unconsciously. He looked miserable. This was unbearable. It caused Fatma a lot of pain. Should she turn back and embrace him? She did not dare. It would cause her devout little brother a lot of pain to have to see his sister in these clothes. She would only hurt him more then.

Everyone looked at Fatma as she walked home crying. She no longer paid attention to the people. After all, she had sacrificed her family to be liked by these people?
