About this product
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'By Allah! This world, compared to the Hereafter, is only like one of you dipping this finger into the sea. Let him see how much water it returns with.'
'Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) said: 'Just as fire and water cannot coexist in a cup, the love for the Hereafter and the love for this world cannot coexist in the heart of the believer.'
Wahb ibn Munabbih said: 'The example of this world and the Hereafter is like a man who has two wives: if he pleases one, the other becomes displeased.'
Yazid ibn Maysarah said: 'Our teachers used to call this world "pig." If they had known a worse name, they would have called it that. When anything of worldly nature came to them, they would say: "Away, away, you pig! We have no need for you. Verily, we know our God!"
Sufyan ath-Thawri said: 'Asceticism regarding worldly matters means not expecting to live long. It is not about eating coarse food, nor wearing poor clothing.'
